Join a shift to put your name on the rota for that service. Anyone on the team can join a shift until the shift is full.

Open Shifts

Tap Shifts in the bottom navigation bar.

Find the shift you want

Shifts are listed by Sunday, one card for each service. Scroll down to see the rest of the month.To go to another month, tap the month or year at the top of the list, or tap the left and right arrows.

Tap Join

Tap Join at the bottom of the shift card. The button shows Joining… while your place is saved.

What happens next

  • A message at the top of the screen says “You successfully joined the shift!”
  • Your name appears under Assigned on the shift card.
  • The Join button changes to Leave. If you can no longer make it, see Leave a shift.

Common problems

There’s no Join button

  • The card says Shift Full: this shift has as many people as it can take. Choose another Sunday.
  • The card shows Leave: you’re already on this shift.

You see “Failed to join shift”

Check your internet connection and tap Join again. If it keeps happening, ask an admin to check that you’re set up on the team.
